LemurKey.app is Morse receiving practice for ham radio: hear full-speed CW, copy what you heard, and build real QSO skills. Audio is powered by jscwlib (DJ5CW).
Practice
- Copy — Word, Callsign, and Sentence. Press Play, fill the slots, Enter to check.
- Learn — Alphabet adds one Koch character at a time; Q codes is a searchable cheat sheet; Keys is a no-scoring tap-to-hear reference pad.
- QSO — a scripted two-way contact: copy each transmission, then reply by key or keyboard.
Live DX
Choose Live DX in the top-level navigation to see what is on the air for your home grid and bands: CW spots, an Activity tab (RBN band metrics and NCDXF beacons), POTA/SOTA activations, a greyline map, and satellite passes. Guests set callsign and grid on Live DX → Home; signed-in users save a Station profile in Account that syncs to Live DX. Your callsign can appear as a generated avatar in Account and the top bar.

- Send — keying sandbox with no scoring or watts.
Session & watts
Session sets WPM, spacing, and tone. Clean copies earn watts — spend them in Station on cosmetic builds and unlocks. Optional Chaos Mode (QRM / QRN / QSB) on the practice stage boosts rewards when you want noise.
Hardware keyers
Send and QSO reply accept on-screen paddles, keyboard shortcuts (J/K/Space), and USB paddle adapters that emulate bracket or Ctrl keys — including the Vail adapter (keyboard mode) and VBand-style adapters. Optional Vail MIDI mode in Settings syncs speed and sidetone to the adapter's hardware buzzer.
